Testimonials for Working with Emma
“Emma is an incredible therapist and person. She is highly intuitive, empathetic, and is able to hold the space for you as you process your emotions and situations in your life. She is able to sort through different experiences and help you find clarity in the chaos. I highly recommend Emma as a therapist, especially using the Internal Family Systems model.”

“Before I started working with Emma, I was too busy with school, career, and looking for fulfillment in the outside instead of from the inside. I knew and felt myself doing it, but I was confused about how to stop it. I was hesitant about the distance at first, since the coaching is online, but in the end, I felt very comfortable. And to be honest, I was hesitant about the cost too, but in the end, it was so worth it!
What I liked best about working with Emma is her mindset and way of working, it’s very personal yet professional. I felt heard and helped and since she is very willing to answer questions in between sessions or make meditations that are helpful, I feel she takes her clients very seriously and gives them the best she has. Besides that, she gives tools to work with and good explanations with it, and she has so many wonderful things to share!
After working with Emma, I feel I don’t ‘have to’ anymore, but can live, love and work from my place of flow. I know my inner world and its parts way better and I’m able to heal myself, check-in with myself, give myself what I need, and the best part: I can be there for others in a way that is more loving and healthier for myself.
If you’re considering working with Emma, you should know that she is a great, professional coach. To me it felt she can check in with coachees easily and quickly to give them what they need, she knows what she is doing and she knows so much about psychology, yoga, etc. so she can make a fitting program for everyone. She takes good care of her coachees.
Go on a lovely trip inwards with Emma if you want to heal your inner world in a professional, safe and personal setting and place. I think she’s a lovely coach, she’s so supportive, creative and grounded, a great listener, knows what she’s doing, and willing to help you the best she can.”
“When I came for my coaching session with Emma, I was struggling with over-working and over-committing myself. I was finding it hard to allow myself to relax and this was starting to have a negative impact on my life and my health.
My session with Emma really helped me to connect with the part of myself that had been weighed down with this problem for so long. She gave me an exercise to use after the session which helped me integrate what we did into my daily life –this has been really helpful.
Emma held the space for me extremely well, and I felt heard and understood in our session together. I’m now learning to find more balance in my life and I don’t think I could have made this step without Emma’s support!”
-Jules De Vitto, Coach and Reiki Healer
“I came to Emma because I felt trapped. I was working relentlessly on so many projects and I felt overwhelmed but couldn’t stop saying yes to everything that came my way. I was completely overcommitted and I knew that if I didn’t make a change I was going to burn out. The problem was, I was so trapped in my busyness, and had pushed my back up against the wall so much, I had no idea HOW to get out.
The best thing about Emma is that she SAW me. She saw that productivity wasn’t my problem, purely the opposite. And she knew that something so simple as taking time for myself was not so simple for me. I felt seen and accepted immediately, which was great, but overall, it’s her ability to turn your perceived weaknesses into strengths that was so different from any other coaching I’ve received. For someone that is super critical of everything I do, this was the real game-changer- to see my patterns, accept them, and then use them to my advantage.
The moment I knew I was in the right place happened in that first session when I felt the relief wash over me. I felt like I could trust Emma and her ability to help sort out what I couldn’t- me. She was able to direct me in a way where I didn’t feel anxiety or resistance- that’s when I knew it was working.
And I’m still a work in progress, but the massive difference I feel is that I am finally grounded in myself. To have Emma coach me through what I’m doing, why I’m doing it, and how to turn it around is amazing- it’s like I was walking around lost and now I have a map. I’m still on my journey, but I now know how to get out :)”

“Emma Donovan is a highly trained and reasonably experienced therapist and life coach, and her credentials certainly prove it. After just one coaching session with Emma, I felt lighter, calmer, and better equipped to tackle my goals.
I am a high achiever, high-stress individual who is very prone to worrying. Emma used her knowledge of IFS methodologies to help me identify parts of myself that come out when I get stressed. Then, she helped me communicate effectively with some of those parts to resolve worry, spiraling, and indecisiveness.
She helped me by providing empathy and support, as well as simply listening attentively. She also helped me by giving me concrete examples of how to structure my day and my to-do list to avoid overwhelm, worry, and stress. She is very knowledgeable, intuitive, and kind.
In just one session I was able to have a clearer vision of how to create a sustainable framework for myself. I will definitely be making more inquiries with Emma, and I hope to work with her more in the future.”
